Important Facts About Technology Education…

  • The NYS credit Unit Sequence in Technology fulfills the Global Language Regents Requirements.
  • The High School course offering, Principles of Engineering (P.O.E.), fulfills the 3rd credit in the math/science sequence and is a Level 3 course.
  • The High School course offering, Design, Drawing, and Production (D.D.P.), fulfills the art/music 1 credit requirement.
  • Up to 2 college credits at SUNY Morrisville may be earned by completing the five credit Vocational Woodworking Sequence in Technology.
  • College credits are available from Suffolk County Community College for completing the Level 3 / CISCO Networking 1 and 2 courses offered at the High School.
  • Up to 2 college credits may be earned by completing the Automotive Technology courses offered at the High School.
